October 1, 2011–(Colorado Springs, CO)—Brinly-Hardy President Mike Schmitt and Consumer Products Sales Manager Chris Chmielewski joined forces with The Home Depot Foundation and Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity on the 26th of September in Colorado Springs.  By the end of the day there were three houses framed, three foundations laid, and over 1,000 feet of fencing constructed.

This marks Brinly-Hardy’s fifth year of participation in the event, now known as the Celebration of Service, which will complete over 300 projects for Veterans within a 2-month span. “It was a great experience to meet the families that the houses were being built for – just to know that we’re changing their lives,” stated Chmielewski.
